We're Kolena, a venture-funded startup that helps machine learning teams build, test and de-bug their ML products with confidence.
We are growing rapidly alongside the Machine Learning field, and are looking to bring on a motivated and collaborative BDR as our first sales hire. You’ll partner with the CEO and other founders to source prospects, schedule demos and build a repeatable lead generation process. We believe in promoting from within - so if you are successful in this role - Account Executive or leadership roles are not far off.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Work with Kolena’s founding team to plan and execute sales development
- Build lists of qualified prospects using LinkedIn, Crunchbase and other sales tools
- Create demo opportunities from personalized outbound prospecting of high quality leads
- Own outreach to marketing-generated leads and inbound leads
- Brainstorm, research, and evaluate new sales sources and channels
- Become an expert on Kolena and how it can supercharge a machine learning organization
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of experience in an SDR/BDR role.
- Strong oral and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills
- Experience educating engineers, managers, and technical leaders on developers tools.
- Experience with CRMs and prospecting tools.
- Experience/familiarity with Machine Learning, MLOps, or Data Science is a huge plus
- Ability to connect and form strong relationships with prospects and clients.Care deeply about the customer experience.
- Good with ambiguity and excited about the prospect of creating the sales playbook from the ground up.
- Willingness to take ownership and execute.
- Enthusiastic desire to grow and learn.
