Account Executive



  • Work with the CEO to define ICP at different stages of the product and use cases.
  • Source quality sales leads and nurture leads into high-value opportunities.
  • Own the entire sales process, from prospecting, running POCs and bringing in technical support as needed, as well as negotiation contracts and closing sales.
  • Partner with the CEO, product, and marketing teams to develop our overall go-to-market strategy as we expand to new use cases and customer personas.
  • Become an expert on Kolena and how it can supercharge a machine learning organization.
  • Play a key role in scaling the team.


As the Founding Sales team member, you’ll be responsible for developing strategic relationships and closing new business. We’re looking for a seasoned sales professional with experience selling highly technical solutions into mid and large engineering accounts. This role will be the first sales hire at Kolena and will play a crucial role in building the foundation of our future sales organization.

  • 3-5 years of technical sales experience, SaaS preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in a sales role growing revenue at an early stage startup.
  • Experience selling developers tools to engineers, managers, and technical leaders.
  • Experience with CRMs and prospecting tools.
  • Experience with sales and go-to-market development.
  • Care deeply about the customer experience.
  • Good with ambiguity and excited about the prospect of creating the sales playbook from the ground up.
